Why does my advert not appear straight away?
Your advert needs to be approved before it appears. This will take no longer than 2 hours.
Can I cancel my advert?
Yes you can remove or edit your advert at any time by logging in here.
Will I have to pay extra income tax?
Depending on the amount of extra income you make will determine what extra tax you would have to pay. We recommend taking financial advice. There are several schemes available from the government such as the Rent a Room?scheme.
Where can I get a readymade contract?
You can get ready made contracts for parking spaces, room lets, flat lets etc at www.clickdocs.com.

Should I take legal advice?
We always recommend you take legal advice before entering into any contract.

We recommend that you always have someone else around if someone is coming to view your property, likewise when going to view a property.
What do I do if I find an Exchange Partner
You both fill in a form to apply for the exchange at the council, you are then visited by the council inspector to check out your home. They will tell you what repairs are needed (if any), and will write down a list of things ie; decorations and permanent furnishings that they will give to the other tenants. If the other tenants agree to this list then they have to accept your property as just that. The whole process should take about 6 -8 weeks depending on the borough.

How old are current are the ads listed?
The ads are a maximum of 6 months old but you will able to tell from the date listed on the advert.
